’Cheetah
Cheetah Flightscope computer

Visitors to the London Golf Show will be able to strike balls on the indoor range – with an array of different clubs – and track their potential ball flight on a state of the art computer that also measures spin, launch angle, carry and ball/clubhead speed.

At least three Cheetah Flightscope portable ball flight monitors are likely to be employed at the show, due to be held at the Docklands ExCel Centre from April 27-30, to help golfers understand the shape and distance they hit the ball.

Indeed a recent demo day, 100 golfers were custom-fitted using the FlightScope and 77 purchased new clubs based on the fitting experience. And visitors to the London Golf Show will be able to do just that with Direct Golf UK setting up superstore at the show – the biggest of its kind in Europe – selling equipment to suit almost everyone’s needs.

So what better reason do you need to enter our competition (below) to win one of ten pairs of tickets we’re giving away for a day of your choice at the show?

Developed by South African company EDH Sport, the £7,000 Cheetah is a powerful tool in measuring club and ball dynamics and is already available in several UK centres including the De Vere Belfry’s PGA academy and custom-fit centre.

Among the leading brands exhibiting at the show will be Srixon, Mizuno, MacGregor, Wilson, Snake Eyes and Hi-Tec with putting guru Harold Swash providing clinics and a host of celebrities lining up to try their hand at pitching to the 120-yard island green moored in Docklands.
