Puma Golf has stepped up its colourful footwear range for the new season with its new Cell Fusion High Heel design specifically for ladies.

The brand’s outlandish shoe features a low cut vamp, microfibre synthetic leather uppers, peep toe styling and a covered platform sole with forefoot flex grooves and replaceable Smart Quill spikes. The uppers also have a combination of waterproof leather and patent leather for a one year waterproof guarantee.

Cobra-Puma staffer Lexi Thompson will sport the Cell Fusion High Heel on the LPGA Tour later this month.

“I can’t wait to get into these,” said the 17-year-old American sensation. “They look so great. I tried them on the range recently and they provide far more stability than you’d expect by looking at them.”

Added Puma Golf’s president Bob Philion: “We are excited to have unveiled the first ever ladies golf shoe with a heel. They will not only inspire our lady golfers with confidence but will offer them extreme traction from all lies around the course.”

The Cell Fusion High Heels come with an RRP of £149 in a variety of sizes.
