 New TaylorMade Burner iron
|
In line with the growing trend towards a combination of irons and hybrids in your bag,
TaylorMade is introducing Burner Plus irons with the option of introducing one or more of its Burner Rescue clubs.
TaylorMade says it has developed the clubs forthe player who wants an iron that delivers the same fast-and-long qualities of the popular Burner Driver. The large clubhead features a thin clubface, low and deep centre of gravity to make it easier to launch the ball high and long.
Using its Inverted Cone technology, Burner Plus irons also have a thick confidence-inspiring topline and increased offset to encourage a right-to-left draw ball flight.
Says Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade's manager of iron creation: "These are so easy to launch that it's a blast to make a big swing and let them fly. We had a lot of fun designing them and we're looking forward to the reception they'll receive from golfers who like to go long."
In addition to a standard set configuration, Burner Plus irons are also available in a combo set that includes two TaylorMade Burner Rescue clubs offering the option of either Burner Rescues 3 and 4 with Burner Plus 5-iron through to pitching wedge or Rescues 4 and 5 and Burner Plus 6-iron through sand wedge.
