Cleveland Bloom bag of the latest clubs
|
With its state-of the art
Centre of Excellence due to be opened at Maidenhead, Berkshire in March, Cleveland Golf is ensuring it's not just a facility for male golfers. It has revealed it aims to attract women players, too with the introduction of a new line of Cleveland Bloom clubs.
As well as a HiBore Bloom driver, there are fairway woods, hybrids and irons, a Bloom Niblick, CG14 wedges and VP 509 putters.
Each club features a lightweight and high MOI design that Cleveland says improves distance and forgiveness. Matching bags, accessories and clothing made by Cleveland Classics, will compliment the clubs.
The HiBore Bloom driver (£239) features a clubface 17 larger than its W-Series predecessor, while the HiBore Bloom fairway wood (£139) has 24% more head volume and offers players a larger hitting area. The hybrid (£109) in the Bloom series is inspired by feedback from the LPGA Tour with a more blunt toe and symmetrical shape to make the head more appealing and inducing a higher ball flight.
The new HiBore Bloom irons (£475) claim to be the only hybrid irons with full hollow construction throughout the set, delivering a consistent feel and transition from 3-iron to wedge.
Cleveland Golf’s revolutionary Bloom Niblick (£99) is a shorter and more controllable hybrid club combining the best features of a wedge, putter, iron and hybrid to create a hybrid scoring club. It also features Cleveland patented Zip Grooves - also found on the Bloom CG14 wedges (£89) - to channel more debris compared to traditional grooves.
Bloom VP 509 putters (£89) have an improved visual alignment warning aid to help players who typically struggle with address the ball squarely to the target line.
