King Cobra Transition S clubs for seniors. Women's versions have blue markings and shafts

Cobra Golf has unveiled its latest King Cobra Transition-S integrated sets for seniors and women, each with versions of the Cobra/Aldila VS PROTO HL graphite shafts and costing and with a recommended price of £659 for eight clubs.
Three club designs are blended into the set – utility metals, hybrid irons and wide-sole irons to offer ultimate forgiveness and the maximum opportunity for game improvement for players who deliver moderate ball speed, says Cobra Golf's general manager Brian Zender.
“We experienced a positive response to the previous Transition-S line, especially from seniors and women and seniors looking for maximum forgiveness, carry distance and accuracy," he says. "In the new 2009 models, Cobra engineer have designed features that also promote draw bias ball flight.
While the No.4 and No.5 utility metals have a low centre of gravity and offset to promote a higher, drawing trajectory, the No.6 and No.7 hybrids have a rounded sole and an increased heel-biased centre of gravity to further encourage better impact and a right to left ball flight.
In the wide-soled irons (8-iron to sand wedge), the Urethane-filled back cavity back improve a softer feel. A gap wedge is also available as an alternative in the sets which will be available from October 1.
