'His and Her' bags from Ping

Now there's no excuse to join your partner on the tee!

We've heard of 'His and Her' towels and bath robes, key rings, even pillowcases. Now Ping has spotted an opportunity to promote the increasing number of mixed foursomes with 'His and Her' golf bags.

The launch of the stylish and innovative SF6 Trolley Bag for both men (above left) and women golfers ahead of the new summer season, will prove an attractive benefit for those hoping to encourage their partner to join them on the fairways.

The distinctive SF6 Trolley Bag has been developed exclusively for use with both electric and pull-trolleys and to appeal to both sexes with slightly differing features. While the men’s bag is available in a variety of classic colour combinations, the floral motif and coloration of the women's version has been creating for the discerning female eye. It has the same features and benefits as the men’s bags but is 1" shorter to accommodate ladies length clubs.

Both bags include six pockets, 10-way divider top, rain guards to protect clothing pockets from wind and rain, waterproof zippers, an expandable drinks pocket, strap holder with carry handle, rain hood and towel loop.

The SF6 Trolley Bag is available in black/silver/red, navy/silver/gold, black/atomic orange and silver/royal blue for men and black/light pink/bright pink and mulberry/silver/lavender for women. Recommended price is £99 each.

We know there are many GM members whose wives, husbands and partners like to play golf - and often together. But do you share equipment? Would you consider 'his and hers' bags? tell us your experiences of playing mixed golf. Love it or loathe it?

We both play in mixed comps so his and hers bags could be apossibility - I already use a ping cart bag, in blue, and my wife was looking at getting a purple one recently.

Share equipment - not exactly - she did borrow my Ping G" driver, loved it, hit it further than any other driver she has used - I never got it back and had to buy myself another one.

Why on earth would you want matching bags - unless you're one of those scandevavian style couples who wear the his'n'hers matching jackets

Sorry but that Ping ladies bag is just horrible.

I might use the mans one though!  LOL

She has her own set of mens clubs (for length & flex) & uses a mans trolley bag:   She wouldn't be seen dead with girly pink/lilac/powder blue gear !!

Her hybrid 3 & 4 irons are great - whenever I can borrow one, that is !  She sometimes borrows my driver.

Come on Bob, it's the 21st century today !   Wake up & smell the machiatto (the coffee drink of choice for ladies).
