Model, TV presenter and former county champion Sophie Horn has signed to play Wilson Staff’s equipment.

The move is billed by the makers of Padraig Harrington's clubs 'to extend popularity among female golfers’ - but Wilson Staff may well have under-estimated the appeal of its new signing, already recognised as one of the hottest properties on the golf circuit!

Sophie currently presents a golf-related exercise programme as part of the Golfing World TV show seen on Sky Sports and has her own website.

She plays to a four handicap and has won the Norfolk County Championship three times - having won the Under-21 title when she was just 15 years old - and is also a Midlands champion and 2001 county Champion of Champions.

“Wilson have very kindly supported me and I very much look forward to helping promote the brand and its excellent range of clubs,” says Sophie, who will be at The Open Championship on the Wilson Staff Tour truck.

Her set of clubs provided by Wilson Staff includes the DXi driver and rescue clubs, the classic FG62 bladed irons and FG Tour balls.
