Srixon is introducing an 2010 version of its popular Trispeed golf ball, which it claims is one of the softest compression balls in its price range. Cost for a dozen is £34.50.
The company says its 'new and improved' three-piece Trispeed ball is designed for all types of golfers, combining a soft mid layer with a large and highly resilient core, to produce a high launch, distance and low spin. Srixon adds that 'the larger core coupled with the 324 dimple design promotes a penetrating ball trajectory that's unyielding to wind conditions.'
With its AD333 ball laying claim to No.1 spot among the best-selling two-piece balls for the past two years, Srixon is determined to make an impact among the softer compression ball category and sees the new Trispeed as a key challenger.
Srixon golf balls have won more than 150 Tour events in the last four years and are used internationally by top players including Jim Furyk, Vijay Singh, Robert Allenby, Tim Clark and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
