Weather forecasters claim we’re about to face the coldest UK winter in over a decade but ever resourceful, Maxfli has picked an appropriate time to launch its colourful Noodle Ice balls.

With their transparent, dimpled covers resembling a coating of ice these balls, and with the reputation of being both long off the tee and landing softly around the green, they are certain to be a popular choice for us ‘frost-golfers.’

We tend to play in all weathers – apart from perhaps snow-covered courses - so these Ice Noodles, with their lime, lemon, tangerine and pink cores showing through the transparent Surlyn may prove the latest fashion accessory.

Noodle balls are engineered to the same two-piece construction specifications as other Noodle products but with increased visibility, says Maxfli.

You can imagine the Sunday morning cry from the golfers searching in the frosty rough "Found one! Who’s playing the tangerine Noodle?"

Maxfli even claims the coloured Ice Noodle will ‘promote more solid contact, be easier to focus on at address and see in flight.’

Recommended price will be £15 per dozen. with coloured varieties available from December and a white version from February.
