Tiger Woods posted his seventh consecutive PGA Tour title at the Buick Buick Invitational at the weekend, adding a new 15-degree Nike SasQuatch 2 fairway metal to his armoury. He's likely to use it in this week's Dubai Classic on the European Tour.

The world No.1 caught the field at the par-5 9th hole, using the club to reach the green in two and then from 25 feet for eagle.

The club features a monorail sole that claims to 'interact with all types of turf to make it easier to hit from all types of lies', a cryo steel face and PowerBow technology 'which moves centre of gravity lower and farther back.'

He also used the 19-degree Ignite T40 fairway metal, Nike SasQuatch Tour driver, 'improved' Nike One Platinum ball and for the Tiger anoraks out there, wore SP 8 TW Tour footwear and Nike Dri-FIT Tour glove.

Retief Goosen holed for eagle at the last to win Commercialbank Qatar Masters in Doha at the weekend, having switched to the TaylorMade TP Red golf ball and the TaylorMade Ross Monza Corza putter. He also used the TaylorMade r7 425 driver and FW fairway metal and TP utility club and irons.

Goosen said: "I'm extremely impressed by the tee to green performance of both Red and Black balls. The TP Red is six to seven yards longer off my driver and very controllable with my irons. They spin slightly differently and I'll use the TP Black when I need more spin on firmer greens and the TP Red for softer greens."
