| Titleist's new F2 (left) and F3 fairway metals - can you spot the subtle differences?

FOLLOWING closely on the back of its latest 909D2, 909D3 and 909DComp drivers,
Titleist has introduced its latest 909F2 and 909F3 fairway metals in two Tour-proven shapes, influenced by input from some of the world's greatest players.
Each model is engineered with its own precisely positioned centre of gravity to produce distinctive launch trajectories and ball flights to suit better players and aspiring golfers.
The 909 fairway woods have already proved their worth on Tour with dozens of players making the switch in recent weeks - most notably Titleist ambassador Robert Karlsson who secured the European Tour order of Merit and then claimed the World Cup in China with Henrik Stenson for Sweden.
“My equipment has improved my game and the new fairway metals have certainly helped me this year,” said Karlsson, shortly after making the switch to the 909F3s. Both the 15- and 18-degree clubs were used to good effect in helping him to win the Mercedes-Benz and Alfred Dunhill Links Tour events in September and October respectively.
With half a degree higher loft than the 909F3 and a lower centre of gravity, the 909F2 generates a higher launch without increased spin. The longer face profile claims to provide more confidence and forgiveness for players who also prefer a slightly larger head.
The lower loft on the 909F3, combined with a more forward centre of gravity, delivers a lower ball flight, less spin and better shot-shaping, while the smaller and deeper face attracts players that prefer a more compact head. Suggested retail price for the 909F2 and 909F3 fairways is £159.
