What do you think is the best value gadget you have bought? £ for £ I reckon mine is the Line-M-up thingy to draw a line around the ball for putting. I am a glasses wearer so I can blame my eyesight but it's amazing whenever I use this and replace my ball after marking it never looks correctly aligned at address even though I know it is. If I trust it, though, works great and gives confidence on short putts.

Lessons, granted not a gadget but £ for £ the best spend of my life.

Swingyde @ £16... a superb device which helps with achieving correct swing plane and can be used to correct wrist breakdown in chipping.

It's got to be my laser range finder. There have been a number of threads on this but you will be amazed at how far you actually hit a golf ball. 300 yard drives, oh really. You hit your 8 Iron 160 yards, oh do you.
It cost me £230 but that was 4 years ago and it has never missed a beat so that’s my best Value Gadget.
It has improved me and my golfing buddies games no end. Superb when playing a new course and shock and horror my club allows them in comps.

I thought they were illegal, even if your club thinks they're OK.
|
 |
No they are allowed in use throgh a local rule, our club allows 'em for non-competition rounds. Seriously considering a range finder, either laser or GPS, got to make up my mind soon (if I can get it working again!) cos the wife wants to know what I would like for Chrimbo:O)
Best value gadget thus far - Victorinox golfers knife, complete with pitch mark repairer, ball marker, and boy scout removal tool.

Best gadget I've ever bought is this:

Ok, it's not golf but it really flies and was the kind of thing I would've loved as a kid!
Best £30 I've spent in ages!

Best 'value' gadget for me is £2000 on a golf buggy which has kept me golfing for another 10 years when I was in danger of havng to give up the game.

Leadbetter training grip, felt so wrong at first but now it is second nature.(always had grip/regripiing issues)

Well I have just bought the swingyde based on the recommendation from Just Pured. It cost me £19 so I hope its going to be worth it!

 Nulli Golfer:
Does the Swingyde work?
|

I bought one and I must say it has helped me in the fact I now have a better top of the backswing position...much more solid. I have very supple wrists and tend to overswing the club at the top...so this gadget is very good at restricting this problem, and also gets the club on a much better plane than before.Mind you I only use this for the backswing and downswing as I have my own ideas on the follow thru swing.
I think a lot of people will be surprised how much this makes you swing the club behind you at the top (laid off) and will feel very weird initially....but you will in fact be on plane.
I'm not one for gadgets usually, but feel this has been a worthwhile purchase even if it doesn't look much when you open the box!
