As Matt showed us his nice swing I thought I would restore order in the universe by balancing his good swing with my hunched, strong right hand, swaying, dipping, chickening winging, lunge, or lurch as we like to refer to it as. Honestly, it really does amaze me whenever I see myself on video that I even make contact with the ball. Oddly, my driving is the best part of my game, go figure.

i'll buy it off you Creo if it gets my game to where you are in the handicap scale!

God, i'd hate to see the stick from you if i had a swing to put up here!

I forgot flat as well, but that sorta goes without saying.

good impact position, doesn't look that ugly to me and the most important bit is your head position at impact.

Funny how you always imagine people look like their avatar! You don't look anything like bricktop. Incidentally, I don't look like mine either!

Whats that funny noise you make before swinging? Is it some magickal chant??

23rd - I think thats me checking my mate had switched the camera on which he had failed to do the previous 4 times, which is why I ended up trying to watch him on this swing and the subsequent loss of balance and bloody great hook.

Oldschool - the blues are great!

You stay behind the ball really well there, i wish I did that!

I bet it was an entertaining session on the range, from an on lookers point of veiw.

Is it on yet, Doh !

Ah, yes, it makes sense now!

Regarding your swing, I really like how well you get through the ball and your impact position is tops.

Nice!

Any chance of a down the line view, creo?

Flat? hunched?

who cares, you have a fantastic rhythm and tempo and i bet you can repeat your swing at least 9 times from 10.

Down the line? Will try, it was a feat of endurance for my mate just to eventually capture this one.

I tried forever and really hard to try and fix the "flaws" in my swing and just got the stage where I had no more to give, I just couldn't seem to grasp certain aspects, or at least do them. So I focused on what I could seem to do which was reasonable timing/rhythm, hit the ball outa the middle of the club-face pretty consistently, and getting a ton of lag. When I practise now I no longer try and fix the flaws and mainly focus on timing and trying to extend the club a little further back as like many of us I have a habit sometime of picking it up rather than swinging it away.

I spose the moral, if there is one, and there wasn't the intent of one, is that with a lot of swing flaws you can still play if you can get back to impact in a reasonable position.

Come on, let's see your swings.

Great post, Creo, and very sensible advice. I know that even with my ugly looking swing I can play well when my rhythm is good. It's what you do through the ball that really matters, not having a picture perfect backswing. Saying that it does help!

I'll post mine as soon as I can swing a club again and enrol the help of a willing victim.

Ok, down the line in slo-mo, excuse the darkness!

looks much  better down the line mate. u dont have much moving parts. looks as if u can repeat it quite well.

thumbs up

would have to see it in day light to pick fault . lol

That looks pretter good to me Creo. I like the lag and swoosh leading to the nice finish.

I have slowly learnt we will not all have Leadworse swings, it's how many you do it in not how you do it.
