Hi, I am about to buy an electric trolley for my Father. I have noticed the 'Field & Scott' Electric Trolley on EBAY, has anyone got opinions on this trolley. Cheers

Fantastic mate and all for £120.
It'll do thirty six holes on the small battery, doesn,t tip and is whisper quiet, with wheels that now remove.
All the lads down here are getting them,
cheap as the provervbial..
If my dad was alive I'd buy him one.

Yes,full speed regulated via a big round switch,that sits nicely under the handle for side finger control.I improved the performance by upgrading the batterie{not that it was needed but wanted more oooomph for uphill courses via golf-batteries.com.}
The guy does a big bag for a tenner that it goes in,really well made and durable and stops all the crud in your boot

I recommended one to a mate based on the reports from this forum. It is everything that has been reported, whisper quiet, stable etc etc.

Unfortunately on the two outings so far it has run out of power on a reasonably flat course after twelve holes. Hopefully this will be solved with a new battery that was being despatched earlier this week.

The service is excellent, my mate (and playing partner)is still not discouraged and is very happy with everything (for twelve holes at least).

Very nice trolley indeed (see recent thread). Superb value for money and excellent after sales service by all accounts ( I have not need it yet).

You will not regret it if you buy it.

Which model have you guys got?

I notice they have two, the wide wheelbase classic and the narrow wheelbase striker.

Has anyone used the striker on hilly courses? Is it stable enough?

Ste,

I have the wide wheelbase classic - very stable on hilly courses. I have not tried the striker so I cannot comment.

Dave,

Got mine from EBAY (search ebay.co.uk for Field & Scott)

I wonder why it is only the striker version that starts at 99p?The classic's are all buy now for 110 quid.
I just watched a striker go from 50 quid to 86 in 30 seconds as it ended(sad i am).

Thanks David not got one yet, its for my son, he's been moaning that I'm only still beating him because he has to drag his clubs round the course. So I reckon I know what he's getting for his 21st.
