Took my striker out this weekend for its maiden voyage. Pleased to report that I was not disapponted. The finish at my club is a back breaker the only 3 real hills fall in the last six holes and it usually is a grind. Not anymore, the striker powered up the hills with ease and I was very impressed at the power from a standing start halfway up the hill. One of my concerns was over stability but during the round the thought never surfaced again.

I echo the impressions by Gary M, very heavy and a little bit more grip would be good, however having said that the course was quite damp, particularly on the surface and the trolley coped admirably.

My playing partner has the classic version, and the wider wheelbase takes a lot of space up in his boot - he is already watching the bids on ebay for a striker.

At £87 including delivery it's a no brainer, consider the cost of a new driver!

Finally commited to an electric trolley this weekend.. WOW.. this has got to be the biggest shot saving device since carrying a putter. IMO. dont even think about it just get one and these babys look nice and good value too.

I was'nt tired at all at the end of the round and played another 9 just for fun. I played really badly but shot a reasonable score. It great to be able to carry all your winter stuff and stay focused down the stretch.

Could be wrong, but thought Field & Scott was just a brand that the seller (stackthemhigh) used. With the Trolley being a cheap generic import from china. You used to see other retailers were nearly the exact same trolley but under a different name. Stackthemhigh used to do spare parts, but not sure if they still do anymore.

I have the "classic" field and Scott trolley and find that the trolley is a bit low i.e. the handle is not at waist height and when the bag is on it it seems very "laid back". Has anyone else experienced the same?
