 Theo,
I know you work for uncle bob, but have you seen that American golf discount are doing the Taylor Made Drivers for £169!!!
Worth a look at.

 So Theo,
Is the 360 OK for a slammer or do you need to just smoothly roll through the ball?
What shaft/loft is it?
Chris, If that the 'R' version or the 'regular' version?

It's the 360, 320 & 300 I think. Just saw it when I called in for some new balls on Saturday.
Well Iwan the 360 is good for just about anyone, I figured that if Ernie uses it, then it should just about be good enough for me. I have a fast swing speed, especially for someone who is 15 years and 356 days old, hehehe. I seriously recommend the R360, it absolutley flies, a month ago a 300 yard drive seemed so beyond me, but now im there or there abouts.
In my Driver I have and stiff E1-70 shaft with a stiffer tip so it flies lower, and its the 9.5* loft. This produces a really nice ball flight, not stupidly high like many other clubs I have used or tried.
Oh and American golf is selling the standard 300 series, all drivers and the fairway woods.....But dont but from those dodgy people, come to Nevada Bob's, the worlds Largest and friendliest chain of golf stores.
Did u hear that Justin and Andy!?!
Oh and NO, im not being employed underage, I did some work experience there and am starting a saturday job there once I am 16.

Come to Uncle Bob's and pay over the odds!
Hmmm, Ernie may use the 360 but then he gets paid by TaylorMade/Addidas to do so, it costs us a pretty penny to buy them and then another penny or two to junk the stock shaft and get something decent in it.
Still unsure whether to trade in my Mizuno Ti (UST Pro 75 stiff, bit gaudy but works OK) for the TM R360ti and a re-shaft, very tempting......

I went to one of the Nike demonstrations at The Open and had a few hits with their new forged titanium driver. I was so impressed with it that I tracked one down and brought myself a 350 with a 9.5 loft. I've only played one round with it but it feels amazing. I know they are few and far between at the moment but if you get the chance to try one out have a go, I reckon you may be pleasantly surprised. My Taylormade R320 has now been relegated to the back of the bag.

Me - I only carry one driver.
Martin Park used to have about three on the go at once. (given them, I believe)
Now, I'm not rich, but not short of a bob or two either.
How the hell can you guys own one Rolls Royce driver and then go and buy another one?
And why??????
I have this cunning plan - Why dont you sell your old driver, and recoup a nice little sum of dosh rather than have 2 at a time. Afterall if the Nike driver is sooo good then why bother keeping the Taylormade?
Ah, you miss the point Theo. Like many golfers, we tend to keep a ' just-in-case driver'. His Nike boomer may work for a while but when his swing gets a little shorter, narrower or shakier one Sunday morning, he can keep his TM in the wings, just in case because it's always the club's fault, when things go wrong. Not everyone can afford to do this, so perhaps Donnay should concentrate their limited advertising budget on producing a '10.5 degree Justin...' driver (and it's not rocket science to work out whom they should get to endorse it).

ahh,
I have a back up driver but its not like I havent tried selling it. My Hippo Giant doesnt have the pulling power/ resale potential as it would have had last year.
Good thing that the new Taylor Made is the dogs b*****ks.
 You mean the 500 Theo?
I am thinking of getting my TM 320 driver Reg shaft re-shafted. I have a fairly quick swing and it is a bit flexy for me. Could anyone recommend a good place to get it done?
_of_18th_n_berwick.JPG) £169 for the 300 series???? Is it worth changing the VFT in for one?
I have a friend with a very slow deliberate swing who hits the 300 for miles. I am having trouble with my fast swing - when I do slow it down, it is better but I am hoping a stiffer shaft will help me out
Sadly my new Taylor Made is not the R500 series, but it is the R360, which is absolutley amazing. Ian -I rekon that the 300 series is probably the best bunch of drivers there is out there, although having said this I havent tried the Hawkeye VFT, but I have never been a fan of any Callaway stuff, apart from their balls. I cant recommend the Taylor mades enough, I tried a 300 and It was really nice, as it turned out my R360 with a stiff E1-70 shaft is even better. My driving distance and accuracy have gone up so much.
Have you tried the Titleist 975J. I use the 975D with 7.5 degrees of loft and a stiff shaft and it has transformed my game off the tee.
pro select UST proforce 65 gold shaft, driver from online golf £49.99
400cc sitting it behind the ball the head looks sooo big well it is big and it goes well to for a cheapy but with a qulity shaft it's a cracker ..
just got to find a head cover to fit the damn thing ..... I think pro select also does a nike look alike on the cheap?

Put a Grafalloy ProLite 35 shaft into my TM 320 Ti. It has a Stiff shaft and it is a club transformed. So much so that I also changed my irons to Grafalloy ProLogic shafts as well - my game has improved so much.
