Bob wrote a review on this product. The article can be found at:

http://www.golfmagic.com/news/article.asp?SP=&v=2&UAN=2560

I bought one, and I agree with most of what Bob said in his review. It's great on the course, easy to push around, runs freely without aid on slight down slopes, and has a brake to stop it running away when you're stationary.

HOWEVER, it's too big for my car, so I want to get rid of it. It's not massive, but my car boot is pretty small. In the review you'll see that it's nearly £100, but if anyone is interested, then I'll flog it for £40 plus p&p. Can't say fairer than that can I?

Any thoughts?

Get a bigger car?

Alan, you interested? £40 - special deal for you, mate.

Alex, if only I didn't have one already, I'd be there like a shot.
I can recommend them, especially if you play hilly courses like mine (Greetham Valley), because it's a 3-wheel trolley that you push, rather than drag behind you up some steep slopes.
If I had a criticism, it's a bit cumbersome to dismantle and fit in the boot but no more so than a powered trolley and far less of a discipline than having to take out and re-charge a battery. I get a few odd looks on the way to the first tee but a few have taken it out for a test run and agree it's the best 'powerless' trolley around.

What about the tyre width? I know they're pneumatic tyres but courses banned narrow wheeled trolleys years ago because of potential damage to the course, especially on wet days.

Alex - if you can't sell it to any golfers (we're not that daft - well I dunno Bob's got one) - fasten a kiddies car seat to it and sell it as a baby stroller. I reckon you could get about £65 for it then.

how much is a kiddies car seat in the UK, they're pretty expensive here... maybe that's a deal to go for.... :-D

Oi! Pack it in! I have enough problems with my own members pointing a p***-taking finger...'We'll see you at the check-out, Bob' or ' Does it prefer sweets or lollies, Bob?' They're only jealous they'd didn't get one first.
At least they know I'm at the course - they say I'm the only member they can recognised from half a mile away!
Now Alex, where were we? "What about £35 for Alex's trolley, then bargain-hunters?"

It could be a hit with the wednesday ladies in my club, for the few of them without a powercaddy...

I've got a skip in my front garden at the moment if you can get it up here Alex.

Alan, you're rubbish.

Lex and the Colonel walked to the first tee pushing their Strollers, the guys on the tee were rolling around with laughter, one of them actually vomited into the rubbish bin, tears pouring from his eyes.

“Welcome to the Evian Tour pairs competition, mother and child event” bellowed Hugh

“Does anyone want to buy this off me?” said an embarrassed Lex “Half price”

“Don’t, don’t” said the poor chap being sick, in a high pitched hysterical voice. He then collapsed laughing again.

“I see you’ve brought along the new Fisher Price driver, as well” said Hugh

“Anyone got a bicycle pump?” said Lex “I think I’ve got a leak”

“Three wheels on my wagon but I’m still strollin’ along,…” sang Hugh

“Last time I saw something like that, Johnny Morris was selling chestnuts from it” mocked Jim

“Look,” said Lex indignantly “It’s got Shimano gears, alloy wheels, titanium tubing, state of the art ABS braking and it handles really well”

“Try BIKEmagic then Lex, it’ll make a great touring trailer” said Hugh folding over once more.

I got my son one of those Internet/text message acronym books for his birthday - perhaps I'd better read it!

Who has related pull trolleys to this thread? It's got nothing to do with them... I take it no one wants it then?
Show/hide user stats
Hey Alex why don't you wait till the next golf magic golf day and put it up as nearest the pin prize......you never know Alan might win it :0)

Alternatively you might fit a well used leather golfbag to it - may be useful for transporting gardening tools around the garden???
