Jim Baker I (please note the I) hit the SQ 9.5 better than the ignite 460. I preferred the ignite 410 strangely and got better flight and direction with it with no comprimise in distance and possible greater distance. but hard to tell. Either way my pro reckoned i hit the 410 ignite better that the 460.
However i hit the Sasquatch better than the ignite and with less effort if that makes sense. I am not sure why, possibly the visually deceptive head which makes you feel like you are hitting a smaller head that you are. Or the long face to back technology.
The only thing i didn't like was i couldn't get the ball really high. So i punted the 9.5 and now have a 10.5 which is fantastic (but has been bagsied by a mate). So good that i have another on its way with a shaft upgrade to Harmon Tour Design. Although....i have to raise some money to pay my credit card so i am selling one of my drivers. Either an r7 or SQ10.5 with Harmon Tour Design will go. The SQ is longer than the R7, and so expect the new one to be even better (well i am hoping) in terms of distance. My only weakness with the Sasquatch over R7 is that i can slice it with the Sasquatch whereas the R7 (set up for draw) is better for direction. Anybody who has played Cawder in Glasgow will see the Sasquatch as the Keir course club (i drove through the green on the first) and the r7 for the cawder course.
But when then new club arrives, I'll hit it a few times to make sure before i sell and let you know :)
