Towards the back of the gear supplement of todays Golfer there is a Motocaddy ad showing a pic of their forthcoming leccy trolley the S1.
This thing is all curves like a sexy coupe and is right at the top of my leccy trolley shopping list.
It looks like motocaddy are reworking their website as it currently consists of a single page with the same pic of the trolley...I suspect that there might be a lot of their old Explorer and Explorer Pro models around the shops going cheap.

Just looks like another 'leccy trolley to me, think you need to get out more!
You bringing your medication to Staverton? Don't want you keeling over at the sight of massed ranks of Powakaddys and HillBillys.
:-)

Keeling over? Sounds like Goldfinger might have trouble walking!
You people have got no soul!!!
No appreciation of beauty!!!
I wonder if they would do me a special Gold edition?

It does look a bit nicer than the usual, granted, but the sexiest golf trolley of all time would have to be when Kirsty Gallagher carries my bag. Ok it hasn't happened yet, but hell might freeze over, pigs might even develop wings.
This is what I call a nice trolley, however, I just can't get over excited about them. no matter how hard I try.

Great voicemail message on the number listed on the website!
Just gave them a call, basically they are moving offices, you can't even leave a message that they'll listen to!...like, please send me details, I would like to buy one of your trolleys?
Ok I'll order another Hill Billy then!
Marcus...nah...them Stewart trolleys look like invalid buggies to me!!!
I guess I'm just a sucker for plastic spoliers & flared wheel arches.
Does look better than most of the others, but look at where it hinges, closed up that sucker is gonna be real high and difficult to get into many car boots. I've got a pretty large car and no way will that trolley fit in my car boot.
I've seen this troley in mags and I despair at any company that is promoting a product that they dont have, and dont even have a website for it.
Its the Stewart X3 for me - once I can errr... convince the wife that "we" need one. At the moment she seems to think that "we" don't.

Just bought a Motocaddy S1 and definately a bit of a golf trolley Ferrari !! Seriously its a very well made, quiet, simple to use piece of kit and it folds down lower than a Powacaddy so no problem getting it in the boot Creosote. Lighter and quicker to erect and take down than a Powacaddy. Seem to be selling like hotcakes at CGdiscountgolf.uk
Mind telling me how much you paid Carnifex??
Best I have found so far is £230 as quoted by the pro at a local golf club to me.
£269 Nick. I think the recommended retail is £299. £230 is a very good price for this quality. I always use CGdiscount because their prices are fair and their service is absolutely the best but they are local to me.
£249 in the pro-shop next door to me. My birthday on Saturday so waiting to see what the new Mrs Mc has bought me... Probably a tie :(
Nick or Sean! What is the name of the pro shops that quoted those prices. I'm interested in getting one myself. Best I've seen is gegolf.co.uk, but at £269 they are much the same as others.

Nick, that's an interesting photo you have, is that you after winning something back in the 70s. Have you won anything since?
 georgie mac...
I was quoted £230 by the owner at Cretingham GC in Suffolk near Woodbridge.
I saw he had one in the shop and casually enquired as to the cost. Now...whether he was bouyed by his clubs 37 hole victory over my club in a County Foursomes Matchplay Comp and was feeling generous (or thought he might get and instant sale there and then) I dont know, but he paused briefly and said £230.
I'll be back up there in a couple of weeks as soon as I have the funds.
STO
The only things I won in the 70's were the three legged race at my primary school in 1974,75 and 76...by God me and Stevie McKendrick were GOOD!!!

 Thanks Nick and Sean!

OK..don't say I never help you guys out!
Whilst at the London Golf Show, I had a look round the Motocaddy stand and the S1 looks a good piece of kit.
The price of the trolley from Motocaddy is £279.99....."What" I hear you shout, "I can get it cheaper than that from my local store"..and that may well be true...BUT...for the next 14 days, if you buy a trolley, you get a (supposed) £89.99 trolley bag included.
For details have a look at www.motocaddy.com/londongolfshow
I have absolutely no connection with the company..despite trying to decide if I want to purchase one to replace my aging HillBilly!!
