can anyone tell me why I keep losing my studs, I recently won a pair of stuburt profile golf shoes on golfmagic and I am over the moon with how comfortable they have been, they are so comfy I forget that I am wearing them, the only problem is I keep losing studs, I have tightened them so much that they nearly sheer off, so far after half a dozen rounds I have lost 5 studs.

I have only lost one or two a season before, is there something wrong with the studs or the housing in the shoes?.

For some reason the stingers seem to come out.
Also applies to their new metal spike Pro Stingers. I've lost a couple in a few rounds whereas I never lose the other metal champ studs.

Ditto for me, tried the new pro stingers fitted into a pair of adidas with fast twist thread and found I lost one on my first and only 18 holes so far with these (damn cr@ppy cold/wet weather)

Superglue?

I have Hi-Tech Custom V-Lites with the Q-fit all the cleats or spikes I have used, have stayed put not lost one. Although the plastic cleats only last 6 months before they need a change.

looks like Im changing the bloody lot then, thank god its not the shoes.

Currently wear Footjoy Aqualites - have never lost a spike!
