I bought an Easycaddy a couple of years ago and gave it a mixed review on the website mainly due to some poor aftersales just after I bought it. Since then, however, it has been a great buy. I have had no problems and a number of people have commented on how quiet it is. I am not needing a new trolley but I would certainly be thinking about buying from them again although I have no experience of the new models. They look well priced though.

Bought a tawe pro xmas 2005.Broke (snapped in half due to its own weight) after 3 months light usage. Upgraded to a "better model" (conwy) for an extra fee which broke 3 times in 2 months......had some of my money back off credit card company but am still waiting for the remainder.....

Please avoid dealing with this company...
you certainley do get what you pay for....
worth spending your money elsewhere.

Purchased Easy caddy `Snowden` in Oct 06. Took five weeks to arrive. Looked good but on second time of use split pin fell out leaving right side clutch useless. Four weeks before new pin arrived. Two more rounds- trolley died. After spending two days trying to contact Easycaddy-advised that the electronic controller gad failed. New one in post-took 8 days to arrive.
Did not work. Another marathon telephone call - new controller on the way. Quote from staff member, `THE CONTROLLERS ARE FRAGILE, THEY ARE SUBJECT TO DAMP`
Then the speed control went, then the electronic distance controller went and a few weeks later you guessed it, the controller went again.
More calls, another controller, only this one was not connected right and the speed control went from zero to full speed.
More calls and this time they asked for the trolley back. Duly collected and returned within a week. Only it was`nt my trolley. It was an old one that showed signs of wear. The wheel kept falling off, the bags straps were worn and it was rusty underneath.

This company is a nightmare to deal with. Their customer care is pathetic and I can only recommend anybody thinking of buying a trolley from them-don`t. I am asking for my money back
but I am not holding my breath-watch this space.

In September 2006 I purchased an EasyCaddy Snowdon Electric Golf Trolley .On the first occasion I took it out the crimp on the top restraining strap pulled off, it started to rain and the trolley kept stopping and starting ,eventually I had to push it round the course,
I was told by EasyCaddy I shouldn't have used it in the rain and they sent me a new control knob which I fitted..
It still kept stopping and starting so they sent me a new control box to fit, once again reminding me it was my fault for taking it out in the rain. This didn't cure the problem so it was sent back to them for repair.
On return it still kept stopping and starting and by then the battery strap, and bottom bag strap clips had broken, the switch cover had also split so back it went, I was told that the Electronic Distance Control did cause this problem sometimes but it shouldn't be used in the rain..
When it was returned and still didn't work properly and the plastic front wheel has now just disintegrated inside the tyre.
I rang them again and was amazingly told that it was probably caused by not keeping the outside of the wheel clean and "what did I expect you only get what you pay for"
They refused me a replacement or my money back. A new wheel did turn up a few days later,it had a bearing on one side missing and the spindle hole was different to the one on my trolley.

I too have purchased an Easycaddy Snowdon, in October 2006. I had the problem with it stopping and starting in the rain and have had two replacement parts to cure this. As the battery was beginning to run down before it had done 18 holes(36 hole battery!) I told them about this, to be told that it was probably the switch problem causing this. However sorting out the switch has not improved the battery performance. Indeed, it is now completely dead. Despite pointing out to them that battery was "not fit for purpose" as it had never been capable to doing 36 holes, all they say is that it only has a six month warranty (not obvious from their web-site which states "parts 1 yr and labour 3 yr guarantee"). When I was told that the warranty card included with the battery was for 6 months I did point out that I had already purchased the cart by then. They offered to sell me a new battery at a reduced price, needless to say I refused this and am writing to their managing director as I feel that under the sale of goods acts my statutory rights overide any warranty they give as the battery would not do 36 holes on the one occasion I tried it (before it was 6 months old). I would not recommend this product or the Company to anyone.

The centre bracket (which holds the two wheel struts and the main folding mechanisim ) has just fractured on my wife's trolley, bought in April 06 and has had only occasional use. My Hillbilly is going strong.

As said above, you get what you pay for.

I wish I had checked for easycaddy reviews before I bought a Tenby model on 17th Sep. A week later the piece of plastic connecting the axel to the tubular frame snapped. I am still trying to get them to agree to a replacement. First they were changing to a new courier then the label software didn,t work then I had to get the mysterious owner to ok a replacement. They will not give me his phone number and never know when he will come in. Even  when he comes in he doesn,t seem able to look at any customer problems and dissapears after 30 minutes. The latest today is that the company is being taken over by somebody called Greentronics and its not known if they will honour warranties! I,ve phoned over a dozen times and am giving up hope. I know you get what you pay for but £200 still seems a lot to let them get away with.

I had one for two years. The axle pin fell out early doors, they sent a prompt replacement. The charger cooked the battery due to ambiguous instructions,so I bought a new battery. The latch buckled after a year or so,again a replacement was sent quickly.Managed to sell it on Ebay for £70 & bought one of these, see below, for £90.Much better trolley.

I first saw the advert in the "Todays Golfer" and thought this is the on for me, it took longer than anticipated to arrive and then my trouble's began. On the first occasion I used it the wire's came loose from the socket so I had to rewire to use again then the battery housing rack fell off during a round, I had that fixed then it began to lose power by the 15th on a flat course and now the switch has fallen off so I am in need of another trolley. Derek.

One of my golfing partners has one.Nothing but trouble, battery problems, potentiometer problems, recently rang them(again to replace the potentiometer) and had trouble contacting them-to be fair he did eventually receive another one.

He says it's the uncertainty that annoys him.
