After much discussion my better half has decided that she may be interested in giving golf "a go".

I am trying to get a few clubs togther for her and am running quickly out of options.

Does anyone know of a source of idividual (cheap) clubs?

or

A (cheap) half set.

I spent some time last night surfing and either option is proving difficult to get.

Any help would be appreciated!

I started 3 years ago. Went along to JJB and picked a couple of individual clubs. Slazengers for ladies. Once I discovered I enjoyed playing golf, every other week or so I added another club to my set until I had a full set. You can get individual clubs for £12-15 and wood from £30 onwards. I didn't use a driver from the start as I could hardly make the cut but once I got the hang of it and managed to get some height in my game, I bought a new driver which was only last year.

unfortunately I encouaged my wife to give it a go and she now seems to be hooked - it wasn't exactly my plan ... Anyway she picked up a full RAM Hybrid set with bag from the Sports HQ, £110. They seem to be pretty good so far http://www.thesportshq.com/Products.asp?CategoryID=58 although the price has now gone up to £140
