Hi all im thinking of getting a powercaddy trolley and bag.
i am using a stand bag at the moment but after 18 holes i really know about it.
anyway i wanted to know what happens if you're not allowed to use a trolley and all you've taken is you're trolley bag?
do you have to keep your stand bag in the boot just in case or do the trolley bags have a strap to carry them?
cheers all

It's very rare that conditions will dictate whether you can use a trolley, if I am in doubt I'll always ring the course the day before and if they're not sure I'll stick a stand bag in the car just in case. Most trolley bags do have a single strap but they are bulky and usually heavier and not made for carrying.

As Hacker says the sensible way round it is to prepare by checking up before play. But keeping a fold up skinny carry bag in the boot is a prudent measure as in my experience what some 14 year old spotty apprentice pro tells you on the phone may not co-incide with what the club's rules are on any particular day.
