Wedges are the most important clubs in my bag, but compared with the drivers, they pale in comparison as far as people often talking about it.

I have numerous wedges, but the most trustworthy one in my bag is the 60 LW. I use it from bunkers to green side approach from 50 yards in. I find I can even be creative with it in attacking the pin. Currently my Cleveland 60 LW is all worn and is thinking about replacing it with the Vokey mill-spin. Any comments ?

Henry I have played cleveland 588s since I started playign golf, but recently made the switch in my lob wedge to spin milled, and am thourally delighted. much nicer feel from the vokey than 588s which now feel hollow. i plan on swapping the rest of my wedges for vokeys.

Interesting.

I use Cleveland Irons and used to Use Their wedges too. I have recently dabbled with Durometers and have ended up with the Vokey 200 Black Nickels in the bag. I just didn't like the Clevelands...

guess it's a personal thing. I never really got on with my vokey's (the old "raw" ones) which are now collecting dust in the garage

i bought 588 47degree pw, 52 gap and 56 sand this time last year.

the pw and gap are on ebay now if anyone is interested. i just dont think i am a good enough player to hit them consistently well

big fan of the spin milled wedges, just seem to be able to fly them the right distance and get them to stop instantly. Very highly recommended. Also so easy to get the ball out of bunkers now, everyone who I play with was so impressed with my sudden improvement in the short game that they went out a nd got them too.

spin milled wedges are excelent unless you play on a course where the soil is quit abrasive (sandy or clay based) in which case you loose the benifit of the spin milling quickly, lovely feel though.

Wedges are like woman you must try plenty before you get the one you really like the feel of.
i personally use cleveland 588 lw 60*/3* bounce just feel comfortable using it from all areas.
had mizuno before will not have a bad word said about mizuno beautiful clubs just fancied a change and cant complain about cleveland, apart from ist a bit smoggy.

I'm a big Mizuno irons fan but I have never got on with their wedges which I find heavy and cumbersome. It's personal taste but I love the lightness of the gunmetal cleveland wedges, not that much spin but I feel I can play delicate shots with them.

RANT : I wish Mizuno would make a gap wedge to go with their sets. What i'd give for an MP32 51 degree wedge. They mess about with 2 irons so I don't know why they wouldn't have a standard gap wedge as an option at least.

i took delivery of my 54 degree ping tour sand wedge today. i find it so much easier to hit than my cleveland 588. maybe its the fact that ot os the correcct lie for me - 2 degree flat - when the cleveland is zero, but i hit it at the range and then on full shots from grass and the difference is amazing. i have just sold by cleve as i found it very difficult to hit right.

i think it shows that one mans mould is another mans gold, or something like that.

Selling Vokeys if anyone interested, a 52 (oil can) 56 (spin milled) & a 60 (oil can).

Great wedges I have replaced them with vokeys with 54 and 58 lofts.

How much for all 3 wedges?

STO - would prefer to sell all three together, due to cost of postage.
