Direct golf are selling them off at 20 quid each or 2 for 35 quid. Has anyone had experience with these clubs? I'm wanting a rescue but don't have a big budget. Would the regular shaft be a bit whippy? I play with regular shafts, sometimes firm so would a stiff shaft be the equivalent of a 'normal' firm one? I appreciate your help on this one.

Cheers,

Phil

I got one for my old man and he loves it to bits - it was a 16 degree.

Thanks John, would you say that the shaft was whippy and i should get a stiff instead or is the regular a good shaft?

I've got an 18 degree which is regular (normally play stiff), picked reg because I feel it's easier to hit out the rough and also like to hav ethe option of hitting a gauranteed draw.
I'm happy with it and at £20 that's a bargain compared to say a TM rescue.

I already play a draw with my clubs, so would the regular shaft exaggerate this or is the clubhead toed in? My 5 wood is toed in and although it used to work wonders when i hit a 'power fade' it just makes me hook the ball now.

i have a wizard 'evolution' which is just a bit of an update but still more or less the same club, i find its a very good club and well worth the money

my club has a stiff shaft but i still find it quite soft, if i try to play it like a wood or hit it hard it gives me a horrible duck hook but it is brilliant when you swing it gently (so good that my mates have even stopped taking the p*** out of me for having a girls club!)

Sorry to disagree with everyone but......I got one for a birthday present. 18degree. Shaft ent stiff enough. It doesnt get off the ground very well. I would much rather spend a bit more cash on a halo.

My cousin has one, and I find it absolutely bloody awful. You get what you pay for. I'd rather have my Rescue mid, or recently tested a Cobra Baffler, and they are awesome.

Don't agree there Coling. My lad has the Skymax Resolve, £29.95 and soooooooo easy to use. I use a Progen Progress utility. Same price and very easy to hit. But if I am being honest, the Skymax is the better club for me.

I have nothing against the higher priced clubs but there are some great deals on the lower priced equipment.
