My Ogio is now wearing out finally and I need a replacement.

My current shortlist is:

Callaway Euro Carry Bag
Callaway Warbird XTT Bag
Sun Mountain Lightning S (not sure if available in UK yet)
Ogio Shling system

Anyone tried any of these ? If so, what's your feedback ?

Thanks.

Mizuno Aerolite is my target. Cheap on eBay, great looking and lots of pockets/utilities.

Bought an Ogio Shling a few weeks ago from Online golf and it is the most uncomfortable bag I have ever used, huge disappointment. I persevered with it for over 10 rounds and made as many adjustments as possible to try and make it comfortable to wear but all to no avail, my shoulders were really sore after only 9 holes - felt like a sunburn kind of soreness. I am a big Ogio fan and went bag to my old Ogio twin strap bag and it was like putting an old pair of slippers on. It looks like the Shling will be on e-bay very soon, not recommended.

I love the shling, make the bag seem very light, although some tweaking will be required to get the shling to fit properly

Thats what it's all about, opinions. I could not get on with the shling and all my golf mates tried it on and thought it uncomfortable. I asked them to swap bags for a couple of holes just to try it out. They happily gave it back!

I should have followed the old saying "Try before you buy"

How can you try a bag before you buy?

Exactly! You would not buy a club without trying but you buy a bag mostly by what it looks like in the shop or in the picture on-line and only know if it is any good after you have finished your round. £150 later I still need a new bag.

Longshot, I cant quote on any of the bags on your list, but have recently moved from an Izzo Spririt bag to a Ping Hoofer Extreme, its easily the most comfortable bag Ive carried (previous bags include Callaway daytripper).

Its only 1ib heavier (which I dont feel), the strap system allows for very comfortable use of the double strap for longer carries and the single strap for short walks between greens -tees.

Adequate pocket space for all needs including w/proofs....sorted

Thanks for the responses. I have just bought the Callaway Euro bag.

It sounds heavy on paper but actually feels no heavier than my old Ogio. The weight distribution is excellent and it has an Izzo double strap which is wide and comfortable.

There's more pockets than I can shake a stick at including an inulated bottle pocket.

Great so far - I just couldn't turn don the lurid yellow and blue colour scheme.
