I have just tried some tall yellow brush tees for my driver. They seem ok. I used to use grey castle tees but was forever loosing them off the tee. I can find the yellow ones - no problem.

Only ever tried one after finding one. What I noticed is that you have to pushthe tee in and then put the ball on top of it. It made getting the height correct a little harder.
As to the ball strike I cannot say I notice anything different and in my opinion the ball should have gone before a club strikes the tee. I suppose only 'slow mo' video would tell in reality.

i tried 'em. didnt notice much differance.
i use the lift tees, though, just because they dont break for about 40 tee shots.

_of_18th_n_berwick.JPG) I had some in m Xmas stocking!
I played quite well with them, but whether it was te tee or just the way I was hitting it at the time I couldnt say!
I have'nt bought any more though!

This might not bother others, but it bothers me. With the Brush-T, looking down while teeing off, its like staring at a miniature Worldcup trophy. With a golf ball suspended ontop of the yellow brushes is a real eyesore to me.

At the end of the day, it's something you stick your ball on, to hit the ball off.
What exactly are you wanting it to do that's going to be so different from using a 2p wooden tee?

I quietly chuckle to myself when I see people use them. Some people think these tees can actually improve their game. Get real. Golfers....wer'e a gullible lot

I find that if it is a bit windy it is difficult for the ball to stay on.
I was using one once and hitting the ball brilliantly off the tee. my pal was having a nightmare. On the 11th he asked to try it and hit a screamer so asked to buy it and for a laugh I said he could have it for £1 which he duly paid. Next hole he teed off, duffed his shot about 10 yards and took the brush head of its peg. it flew half the distance of his ball. He was extremely pi**ed off but I was decking myself

I`ve been using the same yellow brush tee for my driver for 6 months now.
I notice absolutely no difference in ball flight , carry, spin etc. but, every time i look down after a drive, the same yellow brush tee is still exactly where i put it, that makes it a great tee for me.

I found them a waste of space. Difficult to get into the ground if the tee ground is hard and dry, bulky and I didn't notice any difference in how they played compared to a humble wooden tee peg. More Golf Channel sales nonsense.

Well I use them and like them - seem to make a huge difference to me and I get a cleaner strike on the ball and as a consequence am hitting the ball a little further and straighter.
I have recommended them to loads of people and will continue doing so.
Everyone seems to take the pi$$ when they see me using them but when I am the only one on the fairway............

I tried a free one that came off a magazine cover, and didn't like the way the ball wobbles on top of the bristles when there is a slight breeze. I have only just given it away after about 2 years to a mate who swears by the cheap plastic imitations, and even he was a little reluctant to take it. I'll stick with the wooden ones.

I use yellow tee for my driver, black tee for my three wood and blue tee for my 5 wood and 3 iron...
I much prefer them to castle tee's and they last longer - I have had my yellow for a year now..
Wonder how they compare to the lift tee though...

I have used Brush Tee's for my driver only for over 18 months. Makes no difference to performance in any way. The reason I use them is they last for ever (Only on the second pack I bought) and the tee is the same height every time. When I use a wooden tee the height can vary but with the brush tee it the same height every time, which is important on finding the sweet spot on drivers.

 |
Another supposed gimmicky tee I have used and liked was a Lift Tee I got free with a mag.
The one I used was seemingly indestructable, unlike my wooden tees which last one or two holes. They're brightly coloured too, which makes them easier to spot.
