i've got a lovely old RAM Tom Watson 60* wedge. i didn't realise RAM clubs had gone downhill???

I've got the Tom Watson wedges made by Adams... are they the same?

i doubt it. i bought mine in 1998 or so. it has tom watson's signature on the back and RAM on the sole.

Im not just saying this because i have got one but i would have alook at the benross v12+.
The shaft alone costs about £60 i think and it comes in lots of lofts.
My pro recommended i get the max loft 13.5 because of my launch angle and it's great.

Niblick, I've had a bash with my mates Benross V12+ 10.5* and hit it well, if not a bit too high (Reg was quite whippy for me). I'd recommend getting one, especially as you could get one off eBay for around £70.

You probably have a faster swing speed than me Alex - so hopefully it won't be as whippy for me.

Bearing in mind that I generally only use a 3 wood (15*) and that I am a slicer with the bigger sticks... do you reckon a 12* degree would be better? Or do you think with the height you were hitting the 10.5*, a 12* would be too much?

Anyway, VERY tempted now.

after i got mine i bought the trimass fairway, the utillity,and the mondial putter all benross with nvs shaft except putter of course.

12* would probably suit you Niblick.

The club would be likely to have a closed face to help reduce slicing anyway, so 12* seems adequate loft.
