my 303's are the 4th set of irons in 10 years...but the first 2 set dont count cos i was a novice and didnt know what i was buying :)

i have the guitar thing. But I've left a PRS Custom 24 Bird 10 Top to be bought (a bit like the mp 60's) so i don't feel like i have done everything and have nothing left to buy. I'm not good enough at golf for all the miura/tour stuff.
Although i have tinnitus now so can't play my guitars as much as i'd like to.
Also why i can't buy a cobra driver! :) lol

So what do you suggest as new hobby?

Aside - did you notice that nick shot a 69 AFTER selling his MP-32's.....well once i've sold them i'll be shooting better scores too :) (what do you mean that's not how it works!) ;p lol

my vice used to be snooker cues then shotguns
used to buy a new cue every 3 months...at around 100-200 quid a pop...then my dad got me in clay shooting and developed an addiction to keep buying new guns in 6 years i had about 15(but i made money on every gun i ever sold)

so i was suprised that i wasnt as bad when it came to golf

oh and i have booked 18 holes for satdi :)
come sciatica or not the 303's get an outing........even if my bro has to push my trolley

PH - Problem with snooker (pool i love) is that you need someone around the same ability as you to play against. My mates and i joined a snooker club for a few years and would only go once every 6months.

As for clay pigeon shooting. My ears couldn't take it :(

My guitar habit was pretty bad, because i'd have these 30kilo rack valve amps and huge 4x12 speakers lying around. All gone now! So i can't complain about the amount of space a few putters take up!

My golf habit have only be expensive because of my r7 and rescue dual tp. £300 between them. Although this year membership and joining came to £1350ish! So all my gear buying is really a drop in the ocean when compared to that. And i tend to buy my gear second hand and punt it on with minimal loss. I call it the rental fee :)

But I think i'll liquidate some of my assest. Watch out for a putter clearance coming to a screen near you soon! :)

If i get myself a good lady - she'll have to be a golfer! :)

i tried to get my mrs into golf......
purely hoping she would like it and want to go every week and secondly she drives and i dont so i would get up the range more :)

but she dont want a bar of it :(

PH - my old boss had sciatica and could drive an automatic? Or is it your right leg/side that's the problem?

The only worry about having a significant other playing golf is that she whups your ass at it. Eg LGL - she's off 7 in 4 years! And from what i've heard she 'lays pipe' i.e is the straightest of straight drivers! The male ego is a fragile thing! :)
