I bought a Motocaddy S1 earlier this year. I had a motor failure which was replaced under warranty which was no big deal. However I have a major snag, the front wheel mount easily fills with mud so that in the 'dry' weather we have experienced recently the wheel almost seizes solid. Does anyone do a mud scraper?

improvise.

Having looked at both the S1 and the new Powakaddys..I can only say that Powakaddys must really suffer wherever you are playing! The clearance on their front wheels looks a couple of cm less than that of the S1.

Back in my Powakaddy days, I used to just use a twig from the course..or a flexible plastic ruler.

Ratty..not a particularly constructive answer ;o)

My S1 collects mud around the front wheel, but doesn't seem to cause any problems. My solution though is a stiff hand brush. No wheel can stay caked with mud with this beauty. I also drive the trolley through any standing water as this helps to rinse the mud away.
