I am looking for some new shoes, and I wondering if there were any that people would particularly recommend?

I am toying with the idea of bite biofit or footjoy dryjoy pro?

What do you think?

Yes mate, I had a thread on here couple days back. And all the GM members agree.

Footjoy LT 2007 in lime/white that the way to go mate, or orange/white. Just dont know what colour trousers to wear with them.

pricebuster golf £62.99 to the door

Just bought a New pair of Ecco Casual Cool golf shoes.

VERY nice indeed, without doubt the most comfortable shoes I have even placed on my feet. (If you have a pair of Merrell trainers, they feel every bit as good as them on).
Goretex lined, great foot support, and excellent cleats, they also look very trendy, can't wait to get out on the course with them on.

Have you tried the Vltes from Hitec? Seriously comfy and can't believe how light they are.

I would go for a pair of ecco, best shoes i've ever had.  even started to by ecco street shoes as they are so comfertable.

Paul "the fashion" Livingstone speaks. I'm not sure us mere mortals could pull of your risque tasteof coloir blind fashion.

Goldeneye, I will list the shoes I have tried. Bear in mind I play 3 times/week in all weathers

  1. Footjoy Aqualite £60- Outstanding value. Really comfortable and longstanding waterproof. I have had 3 pairs of these. Only downside was the white and tan colour looked aged quite quickly. But the black are the best without dought.
  2. Footjoy Reelfit £120+ - Top of the range - I actually find them quite harsh on the heel after 27 holes. Nice fit and look. Usual high quality from Footjoy but I can't recommend them due to the high cost. They cost twice that of the AQL but are only alittle bit better.
  3. Nike SP3.5 in white £35. I bought these because they are trainer like and go well with shorts. Absolute bargain. Very soft comfortable soles with the uppers cleaning up better than the white footjoys. Not as smart looking as traditional shoes but very comfortable.

I would conside the FJs to be more waterproof. They truly have had some harsh treatment and they have lasted admirably. I suppose it really goes on the look you are after and the cost you are willing to pay.

I have a pair of Bite shoes, picked them up for £30.00 at the British Masters. Really comfortable and I find that my feet do not het as hot in them as they do in my Footjoy LT.

Don't overlook Stuburt - I bought 2 pairs of Profile S (last years model) for approx £30 per pair - I've had Dryjoys, Aqualites, Nike SP6 Tour and Ecco GTX and the Stuburts are at least as good. At that sort of price they're outstanding value.

If you have odd-sized feet, I can strongly recommend MyJoys - more expensive than the options raised here, but for custom-fitted shoes, ridiculously cheap. And you can then have whatever colour scheme you can think up. I chose all black with black monogrammes (just in case there was a mix-up in the locker room with someone else's size 14 extra wide shoes ...)

I have had a pair of adidas tour 360 II but i am actually changing to Myjoys as i have heard they are the most waterproof and as the winter is coming i need waterproof shoes

I am looking at buying some Adidas 360 II they say they are waterproof, I have some Adidas adiWear SL II at the moment and they keep me dry but they have no support so after a couple of rounds on a weekend my feet feel like I have been tortured by the Gastapo.

Would you recommend the Adidas 360 II ?
