Sorry - it's the Flight. Think the MPH looks nicer though; might have to upgrade. Shame on you Geldap, making me spend money!

Have had Sun Mountain bags before but never again. One wore through after a couple of months - the second after 27 holes!! Forget that.

27 holes??? Surely that should be considered a design fault with that one bag (and very bad luck)? What did the supplier say, MagicPlusFours?

Can understand your reluctance, but I've never had problems with them (I've had 3).

There was a problem with the rainhood which saw one of my clubs showing through after one and a half rounds of golf. Took it back to the pro shop; they agreed to exchange it for another one of the same. However, after such a disastrous showing, I was reluctant to go for another Sun Mountain and so I paid the extra for a Callaway-licensed Ogio. Which is still my "airport" bag six and a bit years later (i.e not my main bag but the one that I can put on a plane and not really worry about what the baggage handlers do to it).

Blimey! Glad you found a far more successful replacement!

This has got me thinking though...

Your Ogio is brilliant and has lasted 6 years +, whereas others on the post hated their Ogios.

Looks like until manufacturers can sort out their production lines, it really is a case of "caveat emptor"!

Bratty - the MPH and flight look the same to me - only difference I can see is the moulded handle thingy on top of the MPH - it's very handy though. IMO sun mountain are easily the best quality out there and the new ones come with a two year manufacturers warranty.

Geldap - the MPH is shiny and new... I'm like a magpie!
