Bought some Crane waterproofs from aldi - about £30 I think and they pretty much match the performance of my mates Sunderland gear. My kids seem to think that aldi are a second choice store, but I have to go on the performance of their products, and these wateproofs are good. Are there bargains out there or do you think £££= quality?

You get what you pay for springs to mind.

Scoopa - based on the fact we bought around the same time 3 yrs ago, we also play about same no. of times and his have conceded to the elements first. As you and Wormburner say, however, you get what you pay for and I definitely do not expect 20 yrs out of these.
