
It can be adjusted with the correct bending machine and head moulds. The chances of it breaking are high. It will need to have a hosel long enough for the bending bar to fit on. Most shops do not like doing it. Even on the tour vans they will only do a players if they have an exact replacement for it and after explaining that it may break. The paint may also "spider" too depending on the thickness of the metal.
Having said that if the club is truly too upright for you then you are probably seeing the shots with it consistently going left on a good swing. I would recommend going to see a clubfitter who will perform a dynamic test to see if this is truly the cause or not. Failing that you can shorten the shaft. I think that to make it 2* flat, the equation is -1/2" for every degree, so if you chop an inch off then you are somewhere about 2* flatter effectively. I am not sure on that figure as I am away from my book that it is written in. It might even be 1 inch for every degree.
