Ok guys... I like the t-shirts that Tiger wears for golf and wanted to know two things -

1. What are they called and roughly how much are they ? I had a trawl of Nike golf's site and couldn't find them.

2. On a course that says 'no collarless shirts' would I be thrown off for wearing one ? Surely if Tiger wears them in majors then us mere mortals can wear them or would I be attracting the course police etc

As usual, over to you....

one of the lads in our society turned up in one of these tiger shirts and it cost him (rightly so) £20 to become properly dressed.
Come on Tricky the golf club is just about the last place where standards are upheld for the better of mankind.Yes Ive taken the piss out of the old fart who tells you to pull your socks up and tuck your shirt in but would you honestly have it any other way.

Nothing looks funnier than the (usually) shaven headed nerks with beer guts wearing "Tiger Shirts!"

Obviously I'm 6 foot 3 of solid muscle with a 32 inch waist!!

They are called mock turtles, or mock turtle necks, or mocks, or mock tees, or mock turtle tees, and so on. And no, it is not used to make mock turtle soup :-) !

My club is a bit stuffy at times but they do allow mock turtle necks and I think they are smart.

If it's a choice between a mock and a 20 year old pringle jumper which the cat wouldn't even sleep on guess which I'd pick.
