Changing my irons (TM R7) and the set is only up to PW so need to find a new sand wedge (and maybe a matching 60* lob wedge). I mostly use the SW for 100 yards in rather than greenside bunkers so looking for performace from the fairway (and rough!).
The Specialist wedges are currently on offer at £49.95 so they are a consideration, but looking for advice based on experience with any make.
Current wedges are TM 320 (from current set) and Cleveland (588 I think).

In my opinion the best wedges on the market are the Titleist Spin Milled Vokey's or the Cleveland CG12's.

Cleveland give you far more option with lofts and bounce, moving from 46 to 60 (2degree incrimants). The vokeys on the other hand only start at 54, which is annoying if you play with a 52.

You cant go wrong with either club to be honest, just a matter of preference.
One thing to consider is that the PW from your set is somewhere in the region of 47degrees. Buying a 56 wedge gives a big difference. Maybe think about a 52, 56 and 60 or a 54 and a 60.

I play with 4 wedges, Titleist PW(from set), 52 Vokey, 56 Cleveland 588 RTG and a 61 Ping Zing 2 copper.

Cleveland CG11 and 12 are rather large and clunky, vokeys on the other hand are small neat and perfectly formed !! plus they have the best performance of all the wedges out there IMO.

I agree with you that the CG11's arnt the best, seemed like Cleveland were trying to make a wedge for the more amature golfer but the new CG12's are a fantastic wedge. As i say, its a matter of personal preferrence.

Have recently changed from Vokey to Specialist (I have the 52, 56 low bounce and 60 wedges, but generally don't use the 52). For me it's a no-question improvement - much greater control and spin (and maximum distance, not that that's all that relevant with a lob wedge). However, the Specialist irons are heavier than Vokey. For me that's the right thing, but it may not be the same for you. Having said that, my pro tried them out and now she's going to get some!

I also tried the MD wedges - they're good, but personally I found them a bit 'clunky'. However, others may well have the opposite opinion, and more power to their elbow. Club choice is a very personal thing.

I think TM RAC TP are the most consistent - they dont chew balls or pull them back off the green but reliably stop on secong hop on most decent strikes

also have a great 52/8 to add to 56/12 60/6 or a 54/58 set up

If your SW is to be primarily for use off grass (rather than sand) go for a lower bounce wedge. SW is typically around 14°, so go for 8-10°.
You may find that this will limit your options.

i have recently swopped from cleveland to callaway x-tour all i can say is that i personally am sold on these cally wedges
i have 52 and 58 deg and they are so versatile and spin is exeptional.

I have Vokey wedges (52 & 58 degrees), not the spin milled versions - they are excellent and give enough spin.

I note that Snainton are selling the Mizuno MP T black for £49 a pop. I have the 51° and I find it to be a superb club, good spin, feels great and nicely weighted on the little up-and-downs. I should say, however, I haven't really much in the way of comparison outside of my MX17 PW and SW so further opinion might be warranted!
