Does anyone know or play the Mizuno TPZ irons?

I am wondering how old they are and what handicap range they would suit?

Anybody any ideas?

The TPZ's were out in the early 90's.

There were 3 different models - 2 forged cavity types and one cast cavity.

So depends which of the 3 it was.

You might just find a set on Ebay I bought my son a set for £40 2-PW he played them for 18 months and now plays off 6 a cracking set of quality forged irons

I have a full set of TPZ's (forged) including the original metal woods.  I only wished I could have played more often as I am sure that my game would have benefitted from such a high quality club.  Although I purchased them during the 90's, they are in fantastic condition due to infrequent use.

I was going to change them for sure as I struggled with the long irons.  I felt that a club better suited to a high handicapper was for me but having introduced hybrids to my bag, I'm not so sure.  I only use 6 iron up and the hybrids do the rest.  I suppose if the right offer came along I might be tempted.

Sorry Felix, I elected to sell my tpz's on ebay and they went almost right away, for a good price too.  I was amazed at the level of interest these clubs have generated but everyone agrees that they are a "classic" club.

Good luck in your quest.

Best regards
