I HAVE JUST SOLD MY BUGGY AND PURCHASED AN ELECTRIC TROLLEY ON DOCTORS ADVICE,OUR GREEN KEEPERS POLICY WHEN TROLLEYS ARE ALLOWED IN THE WINTER THEY HAVE TO BE FITTED WITH HEDGHOG WHEELS,IF I USE THESE ON MY MOTO CADDY TROLLEY IT WILL VOID MY WARRENTY ANG IN FAIRNESS I KNOW OF AT LEAST 5 FELLOW MEMBERS WHO HAVE BURNT OUT THEIR TROOLEY MOTORS SUSPECTING THESE WHEELS..ANY FEED BACK ON ADVANTAGES TO THE COURSE FOR THE USE OF THESE WHEELS AND THE EFFECT ON THE TROLLEY MOTORS

as far as I'm aware it is not recommended to use Hedgehogs on ANY electric trolley.

The Hedgehogs are "slip-on" devices that fit over your existing wheels. The electric motors create too much torque and the trolley wheels will just spin inside the hedgehogs.

I got this exact response from Staverton Park when I suggested I fit the Hedgehogs to my Powakady.

I have secured hedgehog treads to my old spare set of plastic PK wheels using copper wire though the spokes and around the rubber tread area.. I rarely use them as I prefer pneumatic tyres but it works fine if needed.
