buy new gear or get old fitted?

Hi folks, first time I've posted but been entertained by y'all for a wee while. I have come back to golf after a wee break and have been using Slazenger Firesteel 2 set of clubs which have done well so far. However, I feel I need to move on but the expense after a full outlay 6 months ago is worth deliberating as my previous set I had for 12 years. Questions: 1. I am contemplating Wilson Di7's or Mizuno MX19's - it appears I can get Mizunos custom fitted at no extra cost but I really favour the Wilsons. Anyone know if they can be custom fitted as aftermarket option or will I be stuck with off-the-shelf clubs again? 2. Does anyone have advice MX19 vs. Di7? 3. Can anyone recommend drivers and woods/rescue clubs which will compliment either irons set well? 4. Can anyone recommend getting my Slazengers fitted as an option? Please bear in mind a budget of £450 max. Thanks all.

I bought my DI7s from Direct Golf and custom fitting came free. Had an extra 1/2 inch on the shafts, a degree of extra lie and 2 layers of grip tape added no problem. Believe AG custom fit them free as well.

I love my DI7s and have heard good things about the Wilson DD6 hybrids which can be bought dirt cheap now. Personally I have Cleveland HALO hybrids and a Hii-Bore 3 wood which seem to suit my game. Driver wise I am stil a bit undecided and have made a couple of dodgy calls in this direction recently.

Thanx greg, that's helpful. Anyone else have any advice too? Maybe any aftermarket club fitters in the Ayrshire / Renfrewshire / Dunbartonshire reas? TVM.
