Is ther such a thing as The Perfect Club as advertised on the golf channel.I am currently playing of a 25 hanicap and am struggling with my long irons and woods. Would appreciate any advice positive or negative on this club before purchasing.

hi pete,
Ive owned 1 for about a year now, only reason i bought it was because i had read some good reviews and i picked 1 up off flea bay for 40 quid, so i thought why not.

I have to put my hands up and say that this club is actually quite good. It is by no means 'perfect' but it pretty much does what it says on the tin. Its good from all lies - tight fairways to quite thick rough. It is very good for running a low 1 up the fairway if like me you need to stay beneath some trees that i am under after a terrible tee shot!

Not sure how much these are going for now but as long as its not over 40 quid then ide say give it a go!

Pete, as an alternative see if you can get hold of a TaylorMade Rescue fairway. These look like the Rescue Mid but are slightly larger. I have the 3 & 7 wood and when I bought these I was struggling with any kind of wood. The way these are weighted make it very easy to get the ball airbourne. They are also very forgiving. Unfortunatly they are a discontinued item from TM but they still pop up on eBay or the likes of Golfbidder.
