Hi everyone, How are you finding the new site? Probably not played golf today, but please take a few minutes to look at the extra features, more example players and the faster shot entry system. Kind Regards Chris www.strokeaverage.com P.S. Another playoff loss this week on the Tour for StrokeAverage.com client D Howell after Oli Fisher last week

Hi Chris I'm enjoying using the website, thanks very much and I will get round to reviewing again for the expanded site, just one question re the Stats, "Effective Putting" how is that calculated and what does it tell us? Also I'm not sure if you know but when you click on "HELP" button in Stats it comes up 404 Error out of date page. Cheers Kind regards Tim

Thanks Chris Will get adding rounds - playing tomorrow...

Hi Tim, Thanks for that, yes we are aware of the help button bug, but there is another 'more tricky bug' that our programmers are trying to solve before they get round to the help button one. Sorry for the inconvenience, when the help button is fixed you will see that every stat on the site is explained/defined including effective putting. It is a way of evaluating how you are putting independently from your chipping and approach play its a 'mini putting handicap' aim is to be as +ve as possible i.e. +1.00 is one shot better than 0.00 etc.. I am away in Spain on the LET, will be back in UK late tonight and will be in touch with our programmers on my return. Hi Oli good to hear back from you. Good luck Chris www.strokeaverage.com

Ooops, i created a trial account to evaluate, but it expired before i got to complete my first round in the sw. a 30 day account trial would be a much better trial for those thinking about purchasing, it will at least give you a chance to get a few rounds entered into the site.

Hi Welsh Blue Nose, How are you getting on with the site? Did you find out that by clicking on the individual club names in the tee shots and approach shots you get a full breakdown of the directional hits & misses (as has been pasted below although it has not been displayed as it appears on the site). All Clubs World Top 10 Male general Shots155 Ave Driving Distance290.2 yards (calculated from 90 shots) end lie Holed Green0.6% Fringe Fairway61.3% Semi Rough9.7% Heavy Rough20.0% Bushes / Trees1.3% Greenside BunkerFairway Bunker2.6% Any Other Lie3.2% Water Hazard0.6% Out of Bounds Lost Ball0.6% Thru 1.3% Left 18.1% Hit 61.9% Right 18.7% Tee This type of info is very helpful for us with our tour players finding club faults etc. I assume that it has/will been helpful to you? - your good review of our site indicates that you did not seem to be aware that facilty. It has always been available since we launched. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Regards Chris www.StrokeAverage.com P.S. How is everyone else - any Relevant 'Tournament Victories' to Inform us about in 2008 - perhaps they may be worthy of a mention on our site
