. I have just got a MD 60" Colboult Wedge and have found it to be one of the better deals I have made, if any one is in the market for a wedge MD Golf Wedges are worth a look at only £49.99. I don't think you have to spend meger money for good equipment.

I've got the oil can spin milled 52 degree (for under £30!! ) - it's a cracking little wedge. Excellent feel & a classic type of shape. Don't think the finish is that durable, but hey, I can always replace it at that price

I'm looking to get a pair of wedges (GW & SW) for my Dad for Chrimbo. My best choices at the moment look like: - MDs as recommended by David, probably the Cobalt because Dad wouldn't like rusty clubs. - Benross SF20s, or - SMT Durometers. SMT are particularly attractive as they can be custom fitted, but all opinions on any of the above gratefully listened to. If I do go with the SMTs, I'd also love to hear who you recommend to provide them (built clubs only please, I'm no DIYer!)

Best contact for SMT Durometers is Shaun at Midas Golf. If you do a search for Midas on the website will throw up numerous good reports about Shaun and his team

I can recommend Midas,I live a cople fo miels away and use them regularly,as do all the local pros. Imho, some custom fit US wedges just sound a little bit mroe special than MD
