Mizuno F60 - thoughts?
Rather pleasant, indeed!

I'm dying to get my hands on the new MX600 driver (anyone tried one yet?), but in search of that and not being able to get hold of my spec very quickly, I decided on getting another three wood to replace my well worn out 13.5 MP001 - it's been through the wars, that thing!

I must admit, I didn't get on with the previous F50, so I resigned it to the junior club rack in the office, but the new F60 - it's just like old times with the MP001 - it's rather good, indeed!

I thought I'd do a little mini review here as there's nothing in the review section yet!Even with the standard shaft, it feels solid, great feel off the face and extraordinarily easy to get away with heel/toe shots...so I've discovered. There's no extra distance claims here, but I have to say, it's a top notch club from both tee and fwy...more for those who like the traditional head shapes and nothing too fancy. nice headcover, too!

Anyone tried them yet?

Parky - If your looking to try the new MX600 then i suggest you go to Mizuno's website because throughout the end of Nov and up until Xmas (i think) you can find a local center and book a free 20 min session on the Trackman ( as used by Pros on tour ) with a qualified pro who can tell you how best to tinker with the weights etc. PS the Trackman is  supposed to be the best of all Launch monitors.

So have a little nose, you never know!

Hi Bill - trouble is I emigrated to Denmark - so I won't be able to get down to Pachesham Park!

I'll get one over here and put the right shaft in it after playing about with things via the Vector (I'm a teaching pro and GCA clubmaker!) - I'm suspicious of the trackman with regards to getting correct spin data - I'm not sure how Doppler Radar can detect what's happening at impact, where Vector can. IMHO.

Thanks for the advice, though - Parky

Parky,

I tried the MX600 last night.

10.5 degree with a ProForce V2 65 regular flex shaft.

Lets get one thing straight...I've never been a believer in moveable weight technology. I've never been able to discern a noticeable difference in ball flight or shot shape when playing about with weights on previous MWT drivers.

not going to repeat myself any further but my brief overview can be found over at RockGolfer (formerly MoonGolfer)...

Parky, I'm sure you'll be sorted well before then, but Mizuno are advertising demo days in Malmo in February and Gothenburg in April - so just a short hop across the water whichever end of Denmark you are!
