Anyone got a Titleist or Callaway stand bag?

Hi All,

I'm about to order a new stand bag for the winter in preparation for the odd spell of trolley bans (I don't fancy hauling my huge cart bag around on one shoulder!).

Anyway, there are two I like the look of... the Titleist x76 in 'Burnt Orange' or the Callaway Strike in plain old simple Orange!

Anyone got any experience of these models in terms of how nice they are to use, what there build quality is like etc?

Cheers,

Chris

I have a titleist stand bag in black - very good build quality, not heavy but not featherlight, a decent bag.

Had it in black as I've had the more technicolour bags in the past which, no matter how much you clean them, always end up looking grubby from the ingrained dirt / sweat that they're exposed to.

Chris, load it up with your clubs before buying. Some of these stand bags are simply too heavy to be comfortable. Make sure in your own mind that you wouldn't be happier with a out and out carry (pencil) bag. I made this change a copule of winters ago, and have never regretted it.

Chris,

I have the Titleist in Orange and would recommend it highly.  Build quality is high and comfort is very good.

Would certainly take it over the Strike, though it's more comparable with Callaway's TT Lite (you can see I've already gone this route and done the comparisons!! Plus I like the Orange!!)

I had the X76 Titleist and it was very good but too heavy for me. Whatever you do don't get the Ogio, not that you are planning to do anyway, but just thought I'd warn you just in case.
