with a high club head speed, normal flight trejectory but quite a chopping ball damaging short iron habbit.

what ball would you recomend.

i use an nxt at mo but they only last a round if that before the covers are damaged.

srixon ad333 likewise.

If you are chopping up NXT's then the BridgeStone/Callaway Prov1 is gonna get minced by you. Maybe try a very durable ball such as the Callaway HX Hot.

Or the Wilson PX3? It's in the same price range as the others and is very durable, probably because of the shallow dimples.

na hx hot is what i would have suggested , they seem pretty durable. every tiem i find them they look like new. any of the mid range balls should be fairly durable.

Hate to be a bore but the Inesis TD Tour is very durable and as not all but most have said performs very well too and £17.50 a dozen.

Despite the trolls its a 3 pices ball with seamless urethayne cover so spins well and feel really good for the short game.

The Nike PowerSoft is a great ball. It plays almost the same as the TD tour, is very durable and costs about £12 a dozen.

Nick - spot on! Have found these to come off trees and paths and not cut up.  A great ball, even if they have upped the price by a couple of quid!

Another vote for the Inesis TD Tour.

The wilson px4 balls seem pretty durable, I played 3 rounds of golf last week with a px4 (that I found) and it faired very well, (Till I sent it to a watery grave) in the third round. My usual ball is either a titleist nxt extreme or a srixon Trispeed. These usually last a couple of rounds before they are consigned to the practice bag!!

There's no doubt the Inesis is a great ball for the money, but it's just such a bugger you have to buy from Decathlon.

Have to agree here.  They are incredibly durable yet still damn good balls.

A round isn't bad for a ball.  If you go for a rock it will last but are you prepared to play with it?  In the winter I buy NXT Tour and Srixon grade A Lake balls at £10 a dozen, At that price who cares if they only last a round.
