Hello all,

I have just bought a Ben Ross V6 3 wood, a 5 wood, a 3 iron rescue and a 4 iron rescue.

My only concern is that the 5 wood is 19 degrees and the 3 iron is 20 degrees, do I need both as they are so close?

Thankyou in advance, Ian

The shaft on the 5 wood will be noticably longer.

In my experience a 7 wood is closer to 3 iron length. I suppose it comes down to what you feel more comfortable with.

Your set up looks fine to me.

i would drop the 5 wood personaly. i carry a 3 wood (15deg), tm rescue (19 deg), cleveland hi-bore(22deg). i just dont see the point carrying clubs with similar loft. if you hit one better than the other then you will always pull that club out to hit the shot. i would try both clubs and carry the one you feel most comfortable with. if you drop a club it will make space for another club you might find more useful like another wedge or rescue club. hope this helps

I have a Benross 20 deg rescue and an 18deg Mizunio fli hi iron and swop the two about depending on the course I'm playing. If its a shortish course with a lot of tight driving holes I may take the fli hi (like a driving iron) which is usually straight, whereas for longer courses I may have more need for the rescue club for second shots as I prefer hitting that off the deck.
