I have the Wilson "Fatshafts".

My Pw is 44* aswell.

I have bought  Benross 48* & 60* wedges to fill the gap.

Love my clubs BTW.

there is no written law that says 7i should be Xdeg and 6i should be Ydeg , and wilson aren't trying to cheat anyone, that's why  they are branded 'D' for distance as opposed to 'C' for control and 'P' for players , they are only offering more choice to the consumer

I once hit a Di7 5 irons 210 yards. Dunno why I didn't buy them to be honest!!!

Now the Di9s are coming out (not a huge difference) Di7s should down even further in price and will the bargain of the century, temped to get a spare set for when freinds come to visit for impromptu rounds, always feel like hollow victories when you've given them a bag of rusty sh*t to play with

Got my Di7s in March and I definitely hit better golf shots with them compared to my previous sticks that were more than 10 years old. Yes the lofts are stronger but you get used to it - I love them.

Hold on though, what's that Greenfly?

Yes Dec, but looking at the press releases and pictures, they seem to have just cosmetically tweaked the clubs, I seriously doubt testing would yield many noticeable differences

Ummm, what a cracking looking upgrade to the Di7, good to see the equipment coming out of Wilson looking so tasty now.

But I have to admit to liking the Ci7's even more due to the thinner sole and cleaner lines, wonder when thats due a tart up?

the thing is they are due to be near the £400 mark. i dont know about everyone else, but i dont like to pay fortunes for my clubs, and £400 is certainly that. i might be tempted in a year or two when they are £250 - £300, but they offer the same technology as the Di7,for a bit more distance. todays golfer said this: 'We've seen a lot of new irons this year but I'm genuinely impressed with these and the absolute clincher for me is the price. In a hugely competitive market, Wilson have managed to price these at a terrific £379 per set of eight irons (4-SW). That is fantastic value and welcome news in a pretty bleak economy! A graphite set costs £429 and they will be on sale from October'. if thats cheap, whats expensive?

How Much!!!!!! Youre being ripped off mate, I buy all my gear from a reputable dealer in China, never paid more than £15 for a full set.

Funnily enough, I had a go with a set of vgc second-hand ci7's today. Came within inches of buying them, but the guy was asking just that bit more than I was willing to pay. apart from the spine (which is horrible) wilson are making some cracking gear at the minute.

here is a list of places where demo days for the Di9s will be held: http://www.wilson.com/more/indexUK.html#/uk-demo-and-dealer-locator

im gonna go along and see if its worth it. i advise anyone else going to compare with their Di7s, see what the difference is.

8% increase in MOI, however they come to that result and slightly wider soles, the shaft width is already patened and the sweet spot was already toe biased, I'm sure they are fantasticly forgiving bats, but only in a very small way better than Di7s
