Are these any good? does anyone play them?

i play off 14 but rarely use a 3 wood but want to get one so i can hit those long par 5's in two well try anyway ha ha ha!!, my hybrid 19* wont get me there. also the club im a memeber at as some tricky tight dog legs.

im after a 3 wood and have seen the BENROSS V6 TRIMASS for 40 notes online, what do we think is it worth a purchase.

also what is the TM R5 DUAL 3 WOOD like heard good things about them.

cheers

I have the Ben Ross S4 3-wood, older version and it is superb off the fairway and off a tee. A mate has the V6 Trimass 3 wood and he thought the same. I have the grafalloy blue shaft in mine and it is an excellent shaft. I don't think you can go wrong for £40.

I've got a benross 3G trimass which was the predecessor which I think is great. My mate has the V6 and there's little difference in appearance apart from the colour, and the moveable weights. Well worth 40 quid. Nevada Bobs also do it for that price where you may be able to try it in the store.

I just put a MD EQL 3 wood in my bag INHO better than the Benross and only £50 best try a few out to see which one is best for you though

What shaft did you get in the MD? tried it with the cheaper Proforce, would like to hear how the V2 goes. liked the older Players MD 3 with the old V2.
