Anyone had any experience with these wedges yet?

Very tempted to replace my gap and Sand wedge with these.

I swished one around the shop. Looked the same as a y-cutter to me with slightly different finish. Seemed fine. Thats no use at all I realise but thought I'd throw it in anyway.

I picked up a 52 and 58 both with 8 dgrees of bounce and used them for the first time on Sunday. The conditions were fairly heavy due to the rain we've been having over the last week.

I've been using TM 52 and 58 satin wedges again with 8 degrees of bounce and also Vokey wedges, the 58 was the spin milled.

I was using the new TM Black LDP ball which is a bit firmer than a PRO VI but with the wedges the feel was excellent. Plenty of check with both wedges for chip shots around the green and certainly got some real spin from 3 approach shots from under 80 yards. In fact the ball looked fairly 'shredded' after the third approach shot.

Overall for me there was a noticeable difference over the old y cutters, however they were a year old so the grooves would have had some wear. The 58 is probably on a par spin wise with a Vokey spin milled wedge but  the new TM wedges look a million times better. So if you're up for a change give them a go.

i've only got the RAC LT2 SW and AW (55deg and 51deg) plus a MD golf lobber. So i think i'm going to replace the SW and AW with a TM Z 52 and 56. the Z-grooves should be noticeably better.
