Need Advice on Hybrids

I'm having a clear out of some of my Gear, unfortunately my Maxfli Hybrids will have to go with the rest of the set (I know I could keep them but selling 5 to S/W is less likely to sell) , The Hybrids have been Working well for me where as the Fairway woods haven't, SO , I need to replace them.

I have had success with Wilson Fat-shaft Hybrids and of course the Maxfli's but my experience with hybrids ends there , Price will play a big part in which I get, is there any Good Hybrids that are cheap enough for my pocket , I prefer steel shafts and I am not a big name follower, I have checked E Bay but what I've seen Don't look right, IE Acer and the Square ones,  have you any ideas or recommendations .

any help much appreciated.

I have

Sham, you may find 5-SW sells just fine. Most people like to buy their own hybrids as 3 & 4 iron replacements these days.

Acer are a pretty decent component make, mate.

Hmmm you may just be right there, it just seems a shame to split the set ,I may put the lot up for sale on here rather than E Bay, if anyone's looking for a set of irons used for 1 year only I have 3 sets , Maxfli Tremours 3and 4 hybrid , and/or just 5 to s/w , or a set of Fazer Contenders 3 to S/W used for 14 month, or an old set of Wilson 1200 Gear Effect 3 to S/W minus the 5 iron (I still have the head ) recently re-gripped, then E mail me

Sorry, it never hurts to advertise

I must admit the Fat-shaft hybrids were really nice as the weight felt better.

I would suggest that you look at the Cleveland Halos and Hi-Bores. Last years models are going dirt cheap at the moment. In the budget range, I have a Ben Sayers M8 and it is very good. Has also been reviews favourably recently.

Have a look on here Sham, Direct Golf have 2nd hand gear for sale - you can pick up a decent make for the price of a cheaper version (all the gear, etc etc!)

Adams Golf Hybrids are constantly ranked amongst the best in reviews. I personally have a Srixon, which I absolutally love! Any use?!?
